The technological equipment available to FEPASS, has allowed to raise the quality standards of the expertise, also thanks to the use of:
- Drones with high definition optics, with qualified internal personnel and in possession of specific piloting license, which allows to have a clear, punctual and timely picture of the damages, especially in difficult to reach points;
- Thermal imaging camera that allows to immediately identify the presence of phenomena that cannot be perceived externally to structures and equipment;
- Hygrometers for the detection of humidity levels in the structures affected by damage.
In addition, a new concept of expertise has developed that, for those who request it, allows to drastically reduce the time for handling mass claims, with a view to improving the service offered, through:
- VIDEO EXPERTISE, thanks to the partnership with a primary software house of the sector, through a software system and geo-localized apps, with which a video call is established with the insured during which the latter shows the claimed damages to the FEPASS operator; during this video call, recorded with the consent of the interlocutor, the FEPASS operator requests all the information necessary for the processing and subsequent quantification of damages;
- TELEPHONE EXPERTISE, for minor damages, during which the insured submits a preliminary questionnaire for the acquisition of the information necessary for the performance of the assessment activities;
- COMPENSATION, arranged through a network of qualified operators coordinated by FEPASS that provide for the direct repair or replacement of the damaged/lost items.
